Curiouser and Curiouser

That's what we were...curious. Curious to see the movie that many people have been talking about...curious to see if it could own up to the suspense we have all been having about it. Well, all I have to say is if you are going to go and see this movie you must see it in 3D. The colors are fabulous and the costumes are great. Story line to me was "simple," but it seems that nothing really wows me these days - I'm sorry to say that even Avatar was mediocre to me...is there something wrong with me?
We went and bought our tickets early in the afternoon and it is a good thing we did because when we went there for the start time they were sold out for both shows.

3D is the way to go...

Both daughters liked it and that is all that matters...even if their mom is hard to please these days!

Hubs and I saw it and I thought it was visually stunning , I do agree the story line was a bit boring and typical. I also am less wowed by many things. I think it comes with wisdom and experience (read age, haha). I did enjoy the 3D but thought the glasses were distracting and gave me a headache by the end. My hubs is blind in one eye so the effect was completely lost on him. We agreed we would like to see it again in 2D. That is a rarity as we usually don't even go to the cinema often to see any movie. At least not lately. Looks like you enjoyed it!

Part of my art group (including Riki Schumacher) had a girl's night out last night and treated ourselves to Alice in Wonderland. I agree it was visually stunning and I, too, loved the costumes especially Alice's dress she wore in the Queen of Heart's castle...oh la la. And of course, Johnny was fantastic as always.

I'm easily pleased by movies, so I should just love it! I've not had a chance to get there yet.
