One of our days was spent here....
Look at this glorious tree that was in the parking lot...I had to take a picture of this because I have never seen anything like this....
A different view....
The first thing we came across in the park were the parrots. We were able to choose the one we wanted to pose with. This one was really friendly and a vibrant red - my favorite color!
Here she is with my daughter....
Next up were the alligators - there size is really intimidating - the kind of creature I would not want to meet up with in a dark alley!
I opted to pose with the concrete alligator species....
My daughter on the other hand posed with the real mc coy!
Aren't they cute??
And then on to the vibrantly colored flamingos....
Do you think they know I'm different than them??
Quick, take the picture before I fall over....
Awweee....still in love after all these years...
My daughter and dad posing amongst the lush tropical trees and plants....
A mother and daughter shot....
Peek-a-boo!
A strange tree trunk - a perfect bench....
A fun day had by all the animals in the park!!

Hi Rochelle; I love your photos of Florida. I was there once, in 2003, and I loved it! I found your blog at MonBonBon and noticed you were from my neck of the woods. I live in Vancouver. Isn't the snow something else this year? We're getting more on the weekend! Agh! Anyhow, your blog looks sooo interesting so I've become a follower. You are welcome to come and vist me too.
